Work under 16?

Child labor laws restrict businesses from hiring someone under 16, there may be "work experience" opportunities. Try talking to small shops who may have some informal work, like sweeping hair in a barber shop.

both my daughters when they were teen agers worked as 'brush' girls for salons near by , they cleaned the brushes and other things around the salon for a small amount of money but it gave them some spending money and learning how to handle their money

Ok this isn't a question that has a direct answer but I just need some opinions

:)

Do you think that a beauticians would be a place that would need some help?

Like cleaning up , putting away stock , fixing shelfs , , handing out leaflets answering phone etc etc

I want to work in the beauty industry , but I'm too young to start yet . I will literally start from the bottom haha :) I would like to be around a place like this where I could see what the ladies are doing. And also would like a summer job .

Do you think they are likely to take me on ? I will try a few beauticians around my area .
