Hello,
I am currently have my Independent Producer license in life, health, auto, p &c. I want to have appointment with Progressive or some other sub-standard carrier.
My question is do I need to register for a separate license called " Agency license" ( like registered to do business as a business entity which I will be the owner) to get appointment with them? Or my current individual license is good enough?
Again, in other words, to have appointment with insurance carriers or broker/dealer by AN INDIVIDUAL PRODUCER like me, Do I need an " Agency license" along with my " individual producer license" to join/get approved with them ?
I am NOT in any General Agency, or any company yet. Just passed my exam and got my licenses.
