There is no definitive answer. You could have any sort of college degree or not have one at all to start a business. However, certain types of college degrees may be helpful or required if you're looking to offer things like professional services.

Frankly speaking no degree is required to start a business. Only three things - Guts, Passion and Reason (why to want to start your own business?). If these three things are there nobody no problems can stop fulfilling your dream.
