Very complicated ebay question?

If you don't have proof that it is fake, then you should not be slandering the seller.

You either get confirmation that the items isn't genuine and send a copy of the certificate that Trading Standards issue OR you return it to the seller.

Either way, it is not yours to keep or throw away. It still belongs to the seller.

Telling people they are selling fakes is very damaging, she may not know it or they may be real. Take it to trading standerds and if it is fake they will give you a note confirming this and if it is real appoligise, pay and change the feedback

What happens if she goes to the police? "I sold this person a counterfeit item, and she won't pay for it."

It's not unlike the bloke complaining, "Arrest Jimmy. He stole my watch that I lifted from the High Street shop last week."

It's not complicated at all. Ignore her. If you are sure it is a fake (or genuinely believe it to be so), nothing at all she can do.

Leave the feedback as it is to warn others.

Hi all, so this happened to me a couple of weeks back. I ordered from ebay a make up product, it never arrived so I contacted the seller who offered me a refund, she said if the product turns up I could keep the refund, but I insisted I'd give her the money if the product was to arrive. after a while I finally got my product, and it happened to be a fake very fake counterfiet item, and I can tell since I've been using the same for years, the only difference that I usually buy it from th shop. so I reported it to ebay and left the person a bad feedback, now the person is threaten me that if I don't change the feedback to a positive one she'll go to the police. can she do that? what do I do? thank you for your answers
