This is perfectly normal. Employers get so many applications that they often don't respond at all if they're not interested in you. In fact most never write back unless they want to invite you to interview.

it means that are not interested in you at this time. Too many people applying makes it impossible to respond to everyone.

Im 16 and i apply for tesco customer assistant part time job. I apply 14 days ago in online and I didn't get responded.

I register in tesco online were it got all the detail of job I apply and it said " in progress".

Can anybody tell me why they are taking long to respond me or why they are not responding me?
