The way it works for fursuit builders typically is payment up front, or at least enough of a portion of the full amount to buy all the materials, with the rest of the amount due paid before delivery. If this is something you have the time and talent for, by all means start offering fursuits for sale. If you don't have one already, start an account on FurAffinity.net and other furry websites showing the fursuits you have made and announcing that you're open for orders. As things pick up, consider setting up your own website with your own domain name and such to look more professional.
Also talk to other fursuit builders to find out what they require from the buyer as far as measurements and design description, and also any other tips they can provide such as at what point they would recommend making it a legal official business (ie. tax paying, LLC or DBA registered, etc.).
u got a library where u live?
go there to learn YOU do NOT need to start
a "business".
you simply need to fill the orders as they come - nothing else.
u want a book on book keeping so u can learn IF u making
money or an actual PROFIT.
there is a difference.
most " business" are self employed people for 1st
Five yrs - nothing more.
use a library to learn b4 u get taken.
Ok im a 16 year old in ohio and looking to start a fursuit business. Ive been making fursuits for two years and many people have asked me to make them one. I really am devoted to this and have been trying to start a business for a year but my funds are low. By starting a business i wish to have a down payment to get started on each suit.
How exactly do i start a business on my own?
