Small Business!?

Turning a hobby into a business can be a big challenge, in part because there are so many other people doing the same thing that has a low cost of admission, you may have to perfect the craft and offer something of higher quality than others, or actually buy stuff crafted in china at a lower cost which you can sell in bigger quantities than you can make.

To cover the cost of a table at some flea market you may have to offer a bigger variety by reselling other people's work as well, including imported stuff.

Etsy.com is The marketplace for hand crafted stuff, do a search for your kind of raft to see how many items the 1 Million active sellers have there already, it pays to e unique to stand out in the crowd.

The quality photos you will need to make sales can be used in other promotions as well.

Etsy charges 20 cents per item listed + 6.5% of any sales, those under 18 need a parent to help sign up.

If it's online you can use Ebay and ETSY

Other than that try craft fairs or local shops buying stock from you

Hi everyone! My friend and I just started to make little crafts and want to sell them. What's the best way to start our crafts out? Can you also give me opinions on these? How are they and how can I improve? Thanks!
