One time I posted something not as a question and this bozo reported it, like it's Jeopardy or something. Last night somebody knocked on our door - they were some of the sidewalk painters, which we haven't had done for about 10 years now. They paint a white square on the curb of your sidewalk and then put your house number in black over that - they put it on the top edge and also on the front edge, facing the street. We like having it. They have all the stencils and they do a nice clean job, which is important. They just go to a neighborhood and start knocking on doors - clean, well mannered, wearing orange T-shirts. It used to be $10 but they wanted $20 last night, which is still reasonable. It took our guy about 10+ minutes to do it. Pretty good money, I'd say. It's something to think about for those of you here who are always asking how you can get some money....
If you are a girl you can sign up for the realteen project. A sum down of what it is; you take a survey every year and once you complete that they send you money. It is only one survey a year though and it is for 6 years. Its not a lot of money but it is some money.
