During orientation, your Human Resource representative would have briefed you on the standards of conduct and how discipline is handled. Some policies specifically states zero tolerance for certain offenses and those are grounds for termination if any of those offenses are committed. So if you violated a "zero-tolerance" policy or if there was no such policy in place, then you probably don't have any ground to stand on; however, if that particular offense was outlined in the policy and your manager did not follow policy, then you may have a case, but either way, there is no such policy that exist that prevents you to ask the manager to reconsider that decision. GOOD LUCK!!
Case for WHAT?
