Update* I'm not sure if everyone totally understands the idea!!
When I was younger, the family would sit down and eat an evening meal together. I talking about taking some of that traditional feeling but turning it into a business. There could be a list of different meals you could choose from.
It would all be put on the plate for you a brought to the table for you. You could chat to your friends while it was being prepared and after you ate, you don't need to do any washing up, the plates and things are all cleared away for you; you then pay a fee for what you have eaten. Hope that explains the idea more clearly.

There are these "Multi Cuisine Family Restaurants"/ "Traditional Restaurant".
This time please spare some time from your busy schedule and visit there with your family. You can order from various options. Spend time with your family, Even say evening prayer. Waiters will take the orders and bring the cooked meal to you. Then you can enjoy it and the plates will be cleared along with the leftovers. You can then Thank God for the food and hand over your credit card to the waiter.
Its as simple as that. Please try it and then we'll discuss more on it later.
Ever heard of restaurants or cafes, been around for centuries. If you were cooking from scratch no-one is going to sit around for an hour and wait for the food to be prepared.
Have you ever eaten out?

yes...your idea is good...i suggest to set up it in a residential area...as Piran advised, take care of the meal cooking time...you need faster service in breakfast time...a fast service in lunch time...and a bit reluctant (if client is in a mood to enjoy your traditional family meal time). your branding should go in the same way, that you will give every one a homely feeling while dining.
I suspect that this question is a windup - otherwise the asker has just moved to town after spending his entire life in a forest.
Wonderful idea. I expect that is why high streets are full of restaurants.
Hi, this is my first post, ive had an idea for a new business. Its based around the idea that many people are very busy and might not have time to prepare food at home. I propose a building that could be set up with dining tables where guests could come and eat food that somebody else has prepared for them.
I would obviously need some kind of "kitchen" within the building. When you arrive, you would be shown to one of the "tables" where you could sit. You would tell me what you wanted to eat and I could then relay this information to somebody within the "kitchen" area of the building, they would cook it and I could then bring it to your table for you to eat. The knife and fork would be all ready on the table.
When you finished eating I could then take the plate away; it could be cleaned and then re-used for the next customer. I think it could be a pass time that many people could enjoy; possibly with friends and/or family???
What do you guys think of it as an idea? Has anybody ever heard of anything like this before?
