Is it rude to call the employer after an interview?

In job hunt they suggest you call to thank the for the interview. If they have any thing they probable just tell you right there, you should always ask to speak with general manager.

This is the unwritten rule of interviewing. You never call the potential employer after the interview.

If they liked you, they'll call you. If not, they'll simply not call. In my twenty years as an engineer, I've had nine jobs. To get those nine jobs, maybe I've had to do twenty interviews. I believe that I got just one "Thanks but no thanks" letter. That was all the way back in college. All of the other times that I failed to get a job, the company never called.

Don't call them. If they don't call you in a few more days, give up. It's super difficult to get a job in this economy. Don't waste your time and just focus on one, ponder around a bit.

Nope Not all all. Its Just A Reminder Maybe They've Forgotten. CALL THEM!!! Just Say ''Hello I'm Reminding You If You've FORGOTTEN that BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH'' :)

Or You Could Be Patient And Wait. Their Maybe BUSY.

best thing you could have done was send them a thank you email letter. wait at least 1 week before you call.

No, it shows that you really want the job.

I think it would make you seem desperate. I wouldn't!

I had an interview 2 days ago an they said they would call today. My friend also had an interview and she got called this morning. Is it rude to call them and follow up? Should I call them? Thanks :)
