You don't need a business degree to own a restaurant or manage a store
What you need is skills, knowledge and experience in the route you want to pursue
My husband managed a retail store for over 20 years and did not have a degree in Business
Restaurant owners gain their skills by working in a restaurant.
I agree that a degree is worthless in your case. I would suggest taking an accounting and tax class if you plan to it yourself
Owning a restaurant is the worst decision I ever made in my life. I don't own it, it owns me. I am exhausted, miserable and the poorest I've ever been in my life. There's absolutely nothing fun or rewarding about it.
Just be sure you work for years in someone else's restaurant before making that move.
Im interested in owing a restaurant one day, and I'm interested In store management just wondering if anybody has went for this and what are you doing now?
