As Jake has said something a bit more memorable probably totally unrelated to your names. For example have a look at the brand OBEY and Boy London. Those names are now big but have a bit of a ring to it. For my Vintage clothing company I used the first letter of my first name and the first 2 letters of my last name to create Glo Vintage.
Its up to you but as Jake said something catchy that has a ring to it.
That's weak naming when you are trying to break into a competitive business, you might have a name that's more memorable, thought provoking or hits physiological triggers.
The only advantage of a vanity name is the absense of the need to file a Doing Business As nae when you operate under your real name.
There are sites with tools that help you come up with fictitious names, including: wordlab.com, naming.net, wordoid.com, lingzini.com, namestation.com, domainsBot.com some of these tools look up the domain name availability as you go.
If you find an available .com name, there's a high probability that it's not a trademarked name.
You might find naming experts in the forum and wordlab.com
My friend and I are starting our own clothing and accessories line. Our names are Brooke and Stacy, so maybe something that can reference our names or initials.
We make a variety of things from our own clothing designs that are a mix of retro, vintage, modern, and steampunk. We also make accessories that are of the same design.
We also make a lot of wallets/purses and necklace charms that are inspired by cartoon characters we love.
Any ideas? Once I get a name, I can work on our label and logo.
