Two really good sites that gives you a bunch of info is http://your1spot.us/ & http://www.mypornbusiness.com/ These two sites I think will help you a lot & the great thing about your1spot is they have started a blog recently, so people could ask questions & build contacts.

My main question is - why porn? Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's a business just like every other. But you'll be dealing with fierce competition and promotion is extremely difficult since you can't easily share porn sites. I'd be interested to know about your market research on this.
