How to avoid UPS brokerage fees?

Thanks for the reply. Id rather get first hand experience from people who dealt with packages coming in. The website shows that there is a bond fee that isn't large, however the company will say one thing and when the package comes it may not be what the rep has told me. I have heard countless times of people being scammed by UPS Express fees, but others who have been able to recieve less fees.

Otherwise UPS wouldn't decided to scam their customers of 50 percent of the price of the goods, so how can they be trusted to give honest answers.

At the end of the day whatever the price that comes up on the C.O.D is I have to pay. So Id rather know from people that have dealt with them if it worth my time.

Where in the hell has common sense gone I mean really why don't you call UPS and find out they can tell you in less time that it took you to type the question and get numerous incorrect answers.

UPS is not scamming you. There are customs duties to pay when buying from another country.

UPS is forced to collect the duties when they deliver it.

Im looking to buy some products from italy that come out to 1000 for 10 items.

They only send by UPS and their fees are 40-50 percent most of the time on the packages I have received. I hear that UPS worldwide saver, UPS worldwide express and any air shipping has only a bond fee roughly 20-30 dollars for a shipment of this price.

Has anyone dealt with Express shipping (air) and had low C.O.D fees.

Does signing up to UPS business lower the fees when importing?
