How to ask your parents for money?

On farms and in 3rd world countries, kids have to help just to have food for dinner, your lucky to be getting any money for helping out with the business.

Have you had the discussion about whether your earnings can be spent for anything you choose (at your discretion) or if they have to approve the purchases. This may be a round about way to work up to the specific purchase you need to make with your earnings.

You should be honest and say "hey i've been helping out a lot, is it okay to ask for some money?"

Tell them straight up, "hey, when can I get the money you guys owe me?" Their your parents, so unless their shitty, they should pay up.

"Hey mom and dad, when are you going to pay me for the work I did"? Just come out and ask directly. If they owe it to you, then they should pay! If you have paperwork/documentation to back it up, even better.

I'm not exactly asking my parents because they owe me this money for working for them. They recently opened a business and I hwlped out a little for $10 an hour for a few days. The rest of the money just comes from chores. You see, I want to buy a PS4 and they owe me $533. How do I let them know they owe me that much money?
