How much should I charge to help someone move?

Depends on the job and how and what you are moving, Big heavy objects can be moved with a rented roller and they should provide that. There could be some things to heavy for one person, you may have to get a buddy and in that case the price doubles. Call a moving company and ask some one how much

they charge from house to house. Manual labor isn't a really high paying job.

But, you are risking physical injuries in the back with heavy objects. Bid your

price according to what you have to move, fifteen a hour is reasonable in a

big city.

Not a good idea at all, without transport there is not a lot you can do to help, and suppose you damage something, how will you pay for it? you should have liability insurance, that will cost you a lot, i would find another way to earn some cash.

so many problems with what you are planning ... are you going to get insured?? if not, don't bother ... cause if something goes wrong ... you are going to get sued up the A ...

alos, $15 isn''t enough ... but any more and it's not worth it for the person

Long story short I'm just a college student looking to make pocket change. So i decided to put up an ad saying I'll help move boxes and whatnot for people if they need me to. How much should I be charging them? I initially put $15/hour but feel like that might be a bit too low? I don't have any fancy equipment or trucks. Anyone know how much I should be selling my services for? i don't want to be overpriced but also don't want to sell myself out.
