bat I am wondering if I could read it as: 1 point 45 dollars? (1.45 dollars)
Thanks in advance :)
A dollar forty five.
Or
One dollar forty five cents.
saying 1 point 45 dollars is too metric sounding for the U.S. who's conversion to metric was a failure. They would say One and one half dollars rather than 1 point 5 dollars.
saying 1 point 45 dollars is 100% wrong
You can read it however you want, but Americans say "a dollar forty five" or "a dollar and forty five cents".
I know it should be red in the way: 1 dollar, 45 cents or 1 dollar, 45
