At 16 years old currently I buy and sell items at a profit all the time on amazon, it is much simpler than eBay due to the simple fact that you need nothing more than a bank account and a debit card to link to the amazon account, so as soon as you sell an item the money is put on hold until the customer gets it and then the money is put directly into your bank account. As of yet the best selling items for me have been all things video games. I will pick up a ps2 for 8 dollars, list it on amazon for 40 dollars at 6:00 and have a sold notification in my email by 9:30.

I just got into ebay selling and im 17 and i just used my dads paypal account because i didnt want to add more info if i made a new one and so i connected that to ebay and i sold stuff around that still had valuable like yugioh/pokemon cards, videogames, consoles,etc. Things you have around, search it up on ebay and see what they price it at and be honest with the condition and people will still auction for it.
