How can I earn an honest living?
There are no jobs around here except ones that pay ridiculous wages such as $9 an hour. There is just no hope here. How can one make an honest living these days? I don't know what we are supposed to do for a living. I have the option to be self employed but it is not a conventional way of making a living. Should I go down the self employment route or apply for the $9 an hour jobs?
what is the alternative? Stay at home and feel sorry for your self? Man needs to work. It is his nature. Take any job offered for now. Use that time to look at how you can better yourself. Go to a trade school and learn a trade. Go to college and earn a degree that will land you a job making more than minimum wage. Life is not fair and no one owes us thing. We do what we to do as long as we choose to work for someone else. If you can see what others needs are and can fill that need and make a profit doing so, then start a business and be your own boss. None of which will likely happen as long as you whine about your predicament instead doing something about it. You can do it. Take that first step now.
go to night school to a community college and take something that will actually land you a job.
