Help with job scenarios?

Filling out an application. Unsure what the best answer to this is.

One of the customers, who comes in almost every week, always seems to be rude and impatient with you. After several weeks of being treated this way, you are starting to get upset. Which of the following would you most likely do?

-- Look for ways that you can avoid having to talk to this customer.

-- Ignore the rude behavior and tell yourself 'the customer is always right'.

-- Ask the customer why he is dissatisfied and ask if you can do something about it.

-- Learn his name and preferences and hope that this special attention stops the rude behavior.

If me, I would tell him just where the bear poops in the forest. No one deserves to be treated with disrespect. Customer or not. What did you do to deserve such rude behavior.

But, for you to keep your job, you have to bite your tongue and try to make a sale. You are paid to sell, period.

answer: -- Ignore the rude behavior and tell yourself 'the customer is always right'.

he will continue his rude behavior if you ask a question or inquire their name, and you can't avoid a customer forever. Only one answer left. Ignore behavior.

Ignore the rude behavior and think the customer is always right and learn his name and preferences and hope that this special attention stops the rude and talk to normal sound.

I would say option #3, ask the customer why he is dissatisfied. This shows that you're proactive, care about the customer, and willing to search for solutions to problems.
