The only place that you might find a business grant would be with the Michigan economic development agency. The Federal government does not provide grants to start new companies. Here's a page of Michigan based resources:

Can someone help/point me in the right direction towards finding a business grant for black/minorities. The company will be new as well. I'm from Michigan too.

I've been searching, only to get frustrated.
