GET A BUSINESS LAW STUDENT IN HIS 4TH YEAR, GET HIM ON BOARD
A few of my friends and I are trying to start up a company, and I'm trying to plan things out as much as possible, but there are a few things I couldn't find/figure out. Please consider that I am still in high school and have very little technical knowledge of business, but am trying my hardest to obtain it.
1. I managed to find a page that lets you register a trademark in our province (apparently for free), but I'm also aware that there are other things that need to be taken care of in term of registering, the only one I know of so far is a 'federal tax id', which I have no idea about.
2. I have plans to put together prototypes of a product, and am planning to use kick-starter to raise money for further production, but I have no idea how to use that money to actually have the product produced and delivered to customers.
3. I am haven't completed school yet, and am bound to bump into more of these problems. I can't find any books or courses that contain technical knowledge for entrepreneurs, and would greatly appreciated if anyone can point towards something that can provide such knowledge. I have read a considerable amount of books such as Law of success, 12 Pillars of success, 7 habits of highly effective people, and the Power of now, but could not find technical knowledge in any of them.
