yes, you need a tax ID for your business entity.

yes, you need a sales & use permit for your category of business.

yes, you have to *file* either quarterly or yearly sales&use taxes to the Comptroller (his choice on how often); if all of your business is outside the state of Texas (including overseas) then you will just have to enter "0.00" for the amount of taxable sales you owe (the first line will be the total sales amount, the second would be the total amount of that that is taxable which would be $0.00). It takes all of five minutes max once you set your account up on the Texas Comptroller's website.

The above is just for Texas sales&use - you are still responsible for yearly business income declaration to the feds (probably via 'Schedule C').

I been dabbling around these stupid tax permits and tax and use permits and yadada.Im thinking of selling overseas in spain and europe there richer anyway :D.But i read somewhere that i still have to file taxes.But as far as permits can i just use mt tax permit or do i need anything else i dont need a DBA.This is just a apparel brand i have and going to sell apparel ,shirts,sneakers,etc etc the real deal!
