Does anyone know where they are hiring please?

I need a job. I have a good resume and experience . Thank You!

Hello,

I'm sure you have searched and utilized all the sources available just like I have on the internet. One thing that I have been successful with is actually using craigslist.org and immediately sending my resume with how I would be a good candidate for that particular position. Also if that listing has a phone number call immediately and schedule that interview. Linkin is a great tool as well, you can connect with recruiters as well as companies and people who are hiring. Of course the popular websites are good as well like CAREERBUILDER, MONSTER.COM, INDEED.COM. Look for great interviewing skills on youtube.com. Hope this helps...

You and millions of others. The GOP refuses to pass any laws that will create jobs. They are in the pockets of the corporations who want us so desperate for jobs that we will accept any pay, no benefits, and crap treatment.

When the GOP continue their path to self destruction, the democrats will win in the fall and things will start to turn around.

In the meantime, apply for any and all jobs, even if you don't want the job.

I was unemployed for a year and a half, with tons of experience, including at a professional level. I have two graduate degrees. But I also am over the age of 60 and that means unemployable. So I am working at a call center, a job I hate, with punitive pay practices (you are paid by minute on the phone. Not on the phone, you don't get paid. Even if no calls are coming in.) But it gives me something to put on the resume while I keep looking for something better.

Be sure to make use of your local state employment office. They can help you find jobs, review your cover letter and resume, and give you experience with interviewing.

The Fruit House in Panama City Beach needs servers.

Cracker Barrel in Asheville North Carolina need a host

The Ramrod in NYC needs a bartender

Try Monster, Career Builder, and Craig's List. Also posting your resume on all of these sites except for Craig's List is a good way for employers to find and recruiters so you can start with a temp position or even temp to perm.

Good luck.
