everyone uses shipping tracking numbers - he said it was shipped - how many states is he away from you? if you needed something in 9 days, you shouldn't have bought it on ebay. Even if he shipped same day, there is no guarantee it would arrive before the 10th

So i bought something on Ebay on Oct 1st and paid at the same time. I read the description before i bid and im pretty sure it said handling was 2 days and returns were accepted. I needed this item by the 10th so i figured thatd be enough time

I waited 2 days and didn't receive a shipping notification so i checked and it said handling time varied and returns weren't accepted. I was looking at a lot of listing so i figured i got it mixed up and gave the guy some leeway. Monday night came and still no shipping notification so i sent a message asking if it could be canceled so i could buy one and pay for faster shipping. He replied an hour later saying it had been shipped already" and i immediately replied back "Oh ok. Can i have the shipping number" but i got no response. The next night i got a notification saying the item has been shipped but there's no tracking number for the shipment. So it didnt arrive today (wednesday) and i need it tomorrow and ill have to find a store to buy one.

If it doesn't arrive tomorrow and i have to buy a new one can i open a dispute. i feel like the guy is giving me the run around. he has a positive rating but ive never had a transaction go this way.
