Don't know. I have never actually seen a Dog on a bus. But then i rarely go on a bus.
That depends on the rules of your local bus company - they may allow dogs, or they may ban them. Unless we know which company you use, we can't be certain about it.
taking a dog that is not a seeing eye dog is not fair to others.
I would leave any bus that had a dog on it that was not
a seeing eye one.
--YOU did not volunteer how far you had to travel

Hello, hope you are well.
I have recently just started work experience at a photography studio a fair way from my house, so I have needed to take the bus everyday in order to get there.
So far, I've just been editing his photos but today however, the business owner asked whether I would like to bring a friend to the shop in order to take pictures of them, and since all my friends are also in work experience, I asked if I could bring my dog instead (Which sounds a little sad in a way "Do you want to bring a friend?" "I have a dog") anyway, I was really excited for it, until I realised, how am I supposed to take her on the bus, she is only small as she is a Shih Tzu and I am confident, she will quietly sit on my knee for the duration of the journey, but I read that some bus drivers may not allow it, if the bus gets quite full, which the one I take tends to be, also I am quite young and most bus drivers don't really take me very seriously.
Please could you refrain from copying text from a website for example as I have read about it myself, I would like some advice from perhaps experience you have had.
Also, could you tell me how much the fee would be?
Thank you so much for reading and any help will be very much appreciated. ^_^
