You need someone with business experience. No, you do not need college to succeed. You need to establish a business that is needed in your area. Do you have any idea how many music studios exist? In the thousands, most very small and getting ready to close. Teaching music might be a better start as a part time basis and work from there. You will succeed with a true long term business plan.

It's possible, but it will be harder.

If you want anyone to loan you money or invest time or money in your business, they're looking carefully at your business. They want to see a business plan that makes sense. They want to see a person who understands business well enough to make a good business plan. They want to see a person who knows how to build a business.

They don't want a kid with big ideas.

A college degree will help convince people that you are a person who can run a business. If you don't want a degree, contact your local community college about classes in starting a business.
