You might want to reconsider your major...
People did it for thousands of years...you can too. My first job was in ATL....out of a small aprtment on Peachtree, for $525/month which included ALL utilities except phone. It worked out. A car is much much more convenient....but if you're smart, you can make anything work for your situation.
I plan on becoming an architect out of college and I want to live in a small apartment in Atlanta, GA. I don't want to waste money on car insurance and car payments and car maintenance and- you get what I mean. Is it possible to use public transportation to and from work if I am close and live and work in Atlanta? I want to not spend money on dumb, unneeded things so I can save up my money and have a ton later in life. So is it possible to live like this? Has anyone had experience living like this and can share what it is like? I plan on not having any kids or having a wife or anything. Just want to start out with that solo, cheap and fun life. :)
