No matter which way you go realize that REAL wholesalers won't sell you one item at a time. There will always be a minimum order before they will even consider dealing with you. Depending on the item that minimum order may be as little as 100 pieces or as much as 100 tons.
Large quantities entering Customs will bring you to the attention of the IRS. Plan on them contacting you sometime within the next three years to inquire about your business.
When dealing with places like China and India you must be very careful of getting knockoffs. These are often seized by Customs and your money is long gone. An investigation will likely be started into what criminal activity you may be involved in. You ALWAYS ask for a sample of the product before you order any.
Many companies will sell at wholesale (or deeply discounted) prices to those with a business license. Home Depot, for example, sells much cheaper to contractors.
recently thought about buying something and re - selling it on ebay or amazon. I don't plan to go massive, just few items per week just for extra cash. The questions are, what do I need to purchase items from wholesalers and be able to sell it on Internet?
is there any documents needed such as registering my name as a trader or anything like that?
any use full information will be highly appreciated.
Thanks!
