You would be considered self-employed as a small business. You have to file completely separate tax forms for the income/expense in addition to filing for whatever regular job you have. In some areas, you must have a business license to operate. Just so you are aware, the Federal income tax on self-employed is over 30% of the money. About the same as a surgeon is taxed.
