Because they SEEM to take big risks with money. They lend millions of dollars to businesses to make more money. The problem is that their republican friends cover them with bail-outs once they get phuqued up enough to lose their investor's money.

The investor is screwed - the tax-paying public is screwed - and the investment banker walks away scott free. The investment banker even often votes himself a BIG pay raise after they screw everybody.

You used the wrong verb. Not earn. Swindle, cheat, prevaricate, misrepresent, obfuscate, hide, misdirect. Oh yeah, and avoid. Like any consequences whatsoever.
