making alot of money but im not happy?

well i always dream of one day having alot of money buy everything i wanted now i make alot of money but i really dont care i dont feel happy i get my money and put inside my wallet and that it i go buy expensive clothes cars houses electronics but at the end of the day i dont feel happy should i give give all my money to st jude hospital or just quit my job i dont want money anymore

Having enough money not to worry about it is great but beyond that it is just money. I have more than I need, happy with my same old house and vehicles so I have started giving people money. It is really fun I gave my niece a bunch of money this month she is getting a condo and is able to pay cash with what she had and I what I gave her. Nice to see a little money do some good, she is low income supporting a special needs daughter so couldn't afford a loan. I was able to gift another niece enough for about half a down payment on her house and I am giving a great nephew tuition for college. I am on the board of directors for a charity for the homeless so can do some good getting people rehomed.

My grandpa died last week and left my parents $800K in his will. He was never really happy, but he donated to places my grandma liked. He gave $400K to a local animal shelter and another $400K to the University of Michigan, where they met. Some of my relatives are upset about what he chose to do with the money, but it was his decision and he can do whatever he wants.

Anyways, there are plenty of good things you can do with your money. You should consider your family, or at least the younger one's education. I think you should just go and take a 6 month vacation somewhere you like or want to visit. You will live a completely different life and maybe that will help change your perspective on things. Good Luck!

You give me some of your money. It would make me happy, in return it would make you happy seeing me happy.

But if you want to you could find a charity that you support, example. St. Jude, animal rescues, children food baskets, ect. Just anything you support. You would be helping out alot of people and/or animals which would make you feel good.

Money just provides you the means to do things - it sounds as if you don't know what you want or how to enjoy life, so step back and consider what would make you happy, and whether that needs money to achieve it. It is also worth thinking about what situation would make you unhappy (eg not having the money to change that situation).

what you're supposed to do is make your money, invest it, and with what's left you would volunteer your time helping others, and giving back to those less fortunate....but not necessarily just giving money to places. You'd need to participate. Learning about humanity is worthwhile. You can also be on boards that initiate telethons, or man some phones for a telethon, or collect food for the needy or toys for tots or help out a church with making meals, etc.

Material possessions don't make you happy. Having security and living a fulfilling life does. Save and invest your money so you have it earning additional income for you, and find out what gives you fulfillment in life.

You have a condition called natural, money is not part of nature it's a self indulgence we have other abilities that can make us happy we have just forgot them, explore

If your job doesn't make you happy, then quit and pursue something that makes you happy. Money isn't all that important, just as long as you feel happy.

Give it all away
