Unless you're a co-signer, you're not responsible. Is your brother married? what type of debts your brother owed? Talk to an attorney for best guidance.

If you co-signed on a loan for him, you are responsible. If the debt is in his name alone, it is now his estate's debt. If a probate is opened, creditors are paid with whatever is left after the funeral bill and attorney are paid.
His estate is responsible, if there is anything of value that would need to be sold. Each state has different laws on probate.
Did you cosign for any of his debt? If not, then you're not responsible.
