Why would someone like accounting?

Personality - Many people are good with numbers. People tend to like what they are good at and be good at what they like.

Puzzle solving - The finance part of accounting is a puzzle solve activity. How to fit all of the parts together to work the best.

I find the whole process to be a giant puzzle, with some extra hard spots that really need my problem solving skills. Then I get the satisfaction of a job well done. The bad part is many companies do not value or respect their accountants. {and small companies DO NOT pay well. Accountants with social skills (as opposed to my technical skills) do get paid more.}

Usually, after I solved the problems, I was laid off.

As we know accounting was a crucial process required for the success of businesses both big and small. While large businesses may employ sizable accounting departments with many employees (as well as doing business with a separate auditing firm), smaller businesses can employ only a bookkeeper. In a single-person business, the business owner should be able to handle the accounting themselves, without the help of a bookkeeper. In this situation, it can be necessary to learn accounting on your own so that you can smoothly manage your business. Learning accounting may also help you obtain a position as a bookkeeper.

People who like numbers... it pays well.. accounting is the best thing to know in a business because it keeps a person to know all the figures in a company to keep them from getting screwed and to know how a business is doing at all times.

Accounting can be boring, tedious, and it can be compared to cleaning manure out of a stable. HOWEVER, it has to be done and those who do i well tend to be paid very well

Account is the good subject at this scenario.

I dont know, Im taking a curse on it and it's the most boring shite Ive seen in my life

I'm studying it and despise it, but it's a good fall back.

-Because They have a good Head for Figures, & it can Pay VERY Well... ;)
