What to spend my money on?

Posted at: 2015-07-28
I'm not tryna sound like an asshole. but i make a lot of money as a 16 year old. i have no bills to pay, so I'm stuck at a crossroad and wondering what i should spend my hard earn cash. Please don't say save it. And i don't intend to spend all the money on drugs.

What you REALLY need to do is start sending it to Vanguard Funds....... you can buy "Index Funds" which is where the Rich Guys keep their money. You can make a deal with them to send them so many dollars a month to invest.

Then you are in fact BUYING something........... but after it's all over, you'll have more money.

So go on the Net and look up Vanguard Funds........ you can start an account to just play with for a while.

But you don't want to just start spending this money on sail boats................ and then look around and have nothing left.

The exact thing you asked us not to do is exactly what you should be doing. You can set yourself up for the rest of your life with good saving habits if you put the majority of it away in a bank account earning interest. Save enough for a deposit on a house and you're well on the way to financial independence later in life.

As opposed to blowing all your hard earned money and ending up with nothing. The lean times will come (as they always do at some point) and then you will have nothing to support yourself.

Well, if you want to make even more money invest in yourself. If you are going to spend money on any asset, it is best that you learn as much as you can about the asset before you invest. Invest your time in educating yourself on whatever path you choice to go rather if its business, stocks, bonds, or real estate if you want to go that route. The more you know, the more you grow, the more people you have the potential to provide value for, and as a result, the more money you will make. Start with investing your time in learning more. You do that, then you will know what to do with your money.

You say don't save it, but think about when you need a nice car or you have to go to college. If you really want to spend your money, even though it's not the smartest thing to do, take your mom out to dinner or something g
