I really need your help. I have a Wells Fargo college student debit card. Every month I get charged $3.00 a month. I forgot they I didn't have enough money in my card. I had $1.27 which changed to -1.27 on 6-25-2015.
Now my questions are, how will I be charged or I won't be charged at all because it's my first time happening.
How much am I looking at if I do get charged?
If I put money in the account, will they just subtract what I owe?
Is it really considered an overdraft?
You will be charged a late fee and possibly an overdraw fee. The error can cost you several dollars in penalties.
You probably will be charged.....if you have had the account for a while and this is your first time.....then call them, explain you just got busy or whatever.....they'll probably waive it.
You know all that fine print you got when you got your account? And the fine print they periodically send you? Read it.
Ask the bank.
