My sister ordered something on Amazon from France. It was expected to get here yesterday but it didn't. We got a slip sent to us about redelivery. I don't know how this works. But I know an option she has and that is to pick up at the post office but heres the part she messed up on. She used a fake name! The package is hers it's just that she used a fake name. She used the name Marty Diamond. Is there a way she could recieve her package without having to show ID? Can she show her vetrified purchase on Amazon? She has her real name on the address section on Amazon along with the fake names, they all have the same address. Can she show them that? Can she use the website? Also if they show up at your house for signing it, do they ask for any ID?

if you have that slip of paper just how that and they might ask you to sign for the package. i don't think i've ever had them ask me for ID. in case they do and ask about the name discrepancy, you could say it was supposed to be sent as a gift to that fake name but they mistakenly sent it to the billing (yours) address.

how ridiculous !!!! your sister can TRY using a copy of the amazon info + her "real" ID, but usps may deny her the package................that would probably be under the postal laws as 'mail fraud' and is highly illegal !!!!

As long as the address is the same it will be fine.
