Julia’s job is in a raise freeze which means that she can’t get a raise until the freeze is lifted. However, she’s doing a great job and the company wants to reward her. Are there any ways that the company could reward her without increasing her Gross Salary?

The company I work at has give pre-paid VISA gift cards as rewards. (usually $100 value)
There is also a reward of a bonus check that one person per year is selected for based on outstanding performance above and beyond what is expected of them.
Basically, one time awards do not change the person annual salary.
A bonus does not affect your gross salary. It is something extra that a company gives to reward good behavior. They could also discounts, merch or vacation time.
extra days off, gift cards, business trip with the ability to extend if for a couple of days for time off paid by the company
