Maximum wage should be infinite. The temptation of instituting maximum wages is that if that does not result in prosperity, then we conclude we applied too high of a maximum wage. So let's say we institute a Million dollar per year maximum. What is a very rich person going to do when he makes a million dollars? Stop working and stop investing, because why should he work or risk his assets for free?
In another example, a CEO makes a million working in a small manufacturing company. Procter and Gamble want to hire him as CEO, but why should he take on additional responsibility and stress if there is no reward for doing so?
The maximum wage depends on the type of work handled. If talented and experienced persons are rare to get the job completed, the maximum wage can be for the time spent and the expertise involved.

not sure what you're asking. For each job there is a low, medium, and high wage. If you want to exceed the high wage you must change jobs. the Human Resources Department is the group that determines the low, medium, an high wage for each job.
