How little money can a person live off?

Regarding renting, groceries, running a car and not dying of scurvy.

No one wants to say, I guess! No kidding 'it depends'! I think the asker knows that already.

I lived in Sydney, Australia a few years back on $500/wk in a tiny studio and ran a car. I could have gone cheaper, technically, but still struggled to not overspend. This included car insurance but not health insurance. Confession: I bought café style coffee at least once everyday. So, yeah, I could have gone cheaper, but I barely went out, bought few new clothes (usually 2nd hand) and brought my lunch to work every day. So, maybe could have lived off $450?

P.S. Had a couple of really terrible neighbours. Perhaps that's a drawback of cheaper accommodation.

How little ? Well its impossible to give you numbers as I have no idea where you live..

But I guess an easy way to work this out is draw up a list of you NECESSARY bills each month - so rent, electric, car, food etc and then that is your minimum you can live on.

Drop the car if you're this poor. Cars are a money sinkhole. It makes more sense to get a place near where you need to be and walk/bike/etc., renting a car when you really need one.

Depends entirely on what country u live in as it varies greatly.

In USA 1600 monthly is tough poverty in most country

it depends entirely on where they live, what they eat, and what they drive, and also their commute to and from work. And if they have govt assistance or not. I would honestly say more information is needed.
