Do I make a lot for my age?

Posted at: 2015-07-28
I am turning 20 in 3 weeks. I make somewhere close to $2500 a month. I earn $500-700 weekly depending on how many hours I work that week.

Considering my age, do I make too much?

That's not bad, but it's also not super impressive overall. If you're not building your future by going to school and learning more valuable skills, just to make OK coin now, you're going to be making $2500 a month for a long time.

That is a good amount for your age (around 30K a year). I made that much during college as well, but that is definitely on the low spectrum for a college graduate. I will be starting a job at construction company as their welding engineer and already negotiated for $80k my first 2 years. Welding engineering is a dying field with only three universities in the U.S. with that program, but it made me much more valuable and gave me leverage in negotiating what I want.

Not too much but decent for a beginner without a formal education.

Young people should take advantage of more fighting. Of course, but also your endurance. Health is most important.

Yes I think so. Stay humble. Be happy and greatful not many have the privilages.

lol You can NEVER make too much.
