What information do you have to give them for them to put money into your bank account? I hear they just deposit it in without giving you a check. Is that dangerous since you might have to give too much of your information away?
I do direct deposit from work and I haven't had a problem with it. I get paid usually at midnight or there instead of going into work to get my check then go to the bank, deposit it. I don't know how YouTube does it. They are a known company, one that has a good reputation. I know someone who does videos and she hasn't said anything negative of the experience of getting paid by them.
I have my paycheck and Social Security directly deposited and have never had a problem. The folks who deposit these already know most of what i would otherwise have to reveal. No idea on YouTube, but they've been around long enough to be considered reasonably safe.
you will need to give them at minimum a bank account number and routing number. It is perfectly safe, you are taking more risk every time you use an ATM, and certainly whenever you write a check
Of course its safe. Why would it be unsafe? You provide your checking account number and bank routing number. It's one way. They can't remove money.
Youtube is owned by Google, if you can not trust google then you shouldn t trust your bank!
