Is was worth $10 in 1974 and it's worth $10 now. So it's actually worth a lot less now than when it was new.
$10. It isn't THAT old. It's only 41 years old. So maybe in 10 years or so, it could be worth something. Hope that helped a little bit :)
$10 legal tender has to be MUCH older than that to be worth more than face value.
Even in UNCIRCULATED mint condition, it would be worth $10.00. It would have to be more than twice that age, or some form of misprint to be worth more than face value.
