where can I complain for USPS awful service?

Posted at: 2015-07-28
I bought something online a few weeks ago and after the item was shipped I noticed my address was missing the apartment number so I immediately went online and requested a re delivery to the right address, however the request didn't work because the item was sent back due to insufficient address. I have been tracking the package and it has been all over the country and hasn't been delivered to me and it hasn't been sent back to the seller. I called to complain and I was told they were going to call me to follow up on the case but never did. I requested another re delivery and even though I got a confirmation and even a reminder the package wasn't delivered again. I called AGAIN to file another complain and the customer service was completely unhelpful and soooo rude! I asked the guy what was happening with my package and he just said that the package should have been sent back to the seller already and that's it, I tried to ask him who was going to be responsible for this problem that USPS should respond and he just said "we are going to escalate the case, have a nice day" can you get any more rude than that? I am so angry ugh

I just want to know what is going to happen with my package and where else I can complain about this TERRIBLE service.

Your help would be very helpful, thanks

Picture thousands of boxes being routed all over the world. Your package is in that bundle most likely with the wrong barcode. After it makes a trip around the world it will end up back to the shipper. File your complaint at usps.com

its not the fault of the usps that the address is wrong on the package.going on line for the Usps is like worthless.they have no idea from one office to the next where your package is,The address is the only tracking available, if its wrong, No one is going to look for it.its in a cart in the back of some truck or in a bin in your local office.I would have been down at the post office and picked it up personally, obviously your to lazy to do this.Again if the address is wrong, either due to a mistake you made in your online order or the mistake of the shipping company, either way, If you don,t get pro active and go get your package this will go in a dead bin, undeliverable.Worked in this system.going online LOL.

Cancel the order and get your money back. Then reorder with your complete address.

You can write a letter to your local postmaster to complain if you want. The postal service has been running in the red for a long time. Congress will not let them increase stamp prices or decrease days of service so there have been massive layoffs. Don't hold your breath waiting on a response.

but it was your fault for not having the aot number on the order in the first place so why are blaming the postal service when it was your fault in the first place

This "terrible service" was kicked off by either you or the retailer screwing up the address in the first place.

Nowhere that will do anything...... Wake up they don't give a ........
