i bought something in ebay last sunday and they told me i should get that on wednesday. on wednesday i got college start 9 to 4 , so any body can tell me what time exactly those people mean postman start delivery? to prevent myself for that day what i should do pls .

Usually rounds start at about 0900 and continue until almost 1500 each day. It will also depend on how large your purchase is. If it is too big for the regular postman then it will come via the Royal Mail parcel van which delivers up until a bit later. Then again it could be coming by another courier which means it can be up until 2100.

They start delivering anytime from about 7 am onwards - and could carry on into the early afternoon. What time they get to you depends on where you are in their round.

Letter carries will normally start their delivery route at 9 am.
