ups lost my package.... what do I do now?

So I've been tracking this package I ordered off amazon and for the past 2 days it has been sitting at the ups place. So I went to the ups store a couple minutes ago and told the lady my problem and she after calling somebody else she said " so basically its lost " it did make it to there store but its lost now.

I wish they would take more responsibility when they lose other people packages that they spent money on but on well I guess. What should my next step be?

Yeah, never use UPS. I've tracked packages that have sat for 5 days before moving. They are 2-3 times slower than USPS and 2-3 times more expensive! Wait until its after the projected delivery date before assuming that its lost completely.

First, if it's been "sitting" somewhere for 2 days, doesn't mean that it has been "sitting there" for 2 days, just that it hasn't been tracked, OR that the tracking hasn't been updated. WAIT until the date that it is SUPPOSED to be delivered instead of sitting at the computer tracking it every inch of the way. If it doesn't reach you when it is supposed to, again, you may have to wait. Even if you filed a claim with UPS, they would make you wait at least 30 days for the claim to go through. Reason being, that occasionally things get on the wrong plane/truck. So, yeah, just stop being a back seat driver and wait for your package to be delivered. The ONLY reason that they developed "tracking" was so that people would know when to expect a package and they could plan to be home for the delivery. But God forbid that people would actually watch it go from one place to another and panic when they didn't see the package "move" one day. Go to the UPS website right now, look at when the expected delivery date it, write it down and STOP going their site!

You really need to be clearer when you right. Go to the UPS "place" would generally mean the big warehouse processing facility. Did make it to "their store" would usually mean that small mailbox places. So if it got to "their store". Why do you say it's lost?

Why don't you call 800-PICK-UPS and find out the specific status of the package and why it has not been delivered.

- If it made it to the final delivery spot and the individual has not bothered to pick it up. What concern of that is yours?

- If the package is really lost, UPS will pay you the price of the insurance.

Ups = Oops

nottify Amazon. good luck.
