But I just recently herd about the Amazon Prime Air Delivery Drones and I was wondering do you think I could still have a job until my 60's so I can retire at UPS
(I Know this Is a stupid question but do you think Ups Delivery Drivers will remain strong and continue to grow) or should I go into a another job while i can
Basically will I loose my future job to a robot
How many times do you intend on asking this question?
Amazon drones are a pipe dream.
People will shoot them down with rifles or hit them with baseball bats or catch them with butterfly nets.
The word is "lose" - not "loose". Loose is what your pants are when you lose weight.
The drones are an idea - and at this point undoable and unrealistic. For many reasons. I doubt Homeland Security is going to condone drones flying around like this - with all the terror prospects going on. As well, as they haven't worked out how these drones will not hit high wires or dogs in the yard, or kids on bikes or go out of control through a window. And I read somewhere there is something about air space. A company in my state (midwest, cold, frozen lakes, ice fishing) had the bright idea of using drones to deliver beer out on the frozen lake to guys ice fishing. Got shot down - so to speak - because of air space and something about having to be so many miles away from an airport.
So I wouldn't worry that drones are going to take over this job any time soon. Besides drones would not be able to deliver outsized or over a certain weight packages due to the drone size. And quite sure drones that are big enough to do that would not be allowed to fly around neighborhoods and distract drivers, kids and animals.
not very likely because if you live say in gated apartment or security [with a conginare]
hows the drone going get in?
other people/companies besides Amazon use UPS.
UPS will be fine
No one entering the job market today will have the same job at retirement.
