There is a market. Some individuals are offering errand services for anything, not just McDonalds food. I hear it's expected to take off and I wouldn't be surprised ... although McDonald's themselves don't because maybe they just don't need to.
Actually, in some countries, McDonald's does deliver. I know from personal experience. I lived for a few months in Pakistan a few years ago, and I regularly had McDonald's home-delivered promptly and right to my doorstep, piping hot and delecious.
McDonalds does not deliver because
1) It is fast food
2) They have enough people that walk into it, so they don't need delivery to expand the profit range.
Because the food stuff is not more coslty if they deliver then the charge become high than stuff.
Call a cab, and have them get it and deliver it to you.
