Oh, this is odd because I've ordered over 100 items on Ebay and each time everyone gave me a tracking number. Now all of a sudden it seems people are being very inconsiderate and not giving a tracking number. And I have ordered from a big company and they didn't give me a tracking number. The advantage of tracking number is that you know the exact day the item will come so there's never any chance of an item being stolen. I mean, I live in a good neighborhood so the chances of anything being stolen are slim but you never know.
The seller may have not used EBay or PayPal to purchase the shipping labels, so the tracking information was not updated.
The seller may have personally went to the Post Office to ship your package and have not updated the tracking information in their EBay/PayPal account.
Best to contact the seller.
eBay offer the option of letting you print the postage from your computer. The shipping using eBays postage label includes tracking. If a person uses stamps or another service to print the label, tracking is EXTRA and they may not use it. It not mandatory, but it is a good way to protect both parties
not all packages are issued tracking number
remember when order something you are ordering from aperson
*NOT EBAY* its up to seller how to ship
